Why go?

It is Geneva's reference watch museum, set in a former workshop in Plainpalais. It shows the manufacture's watches since 1839, and an antique collection going back to the 16th century.

Its Google rating of 4.5 from more than 3,700 reviews wins over far more than watch lovers.

Good to know

Tickets cost 10 CHF, 7 CHF at the reduced rate. The museum opens in the afternoon from Tuesday to Friday and all day on Saturday, with a guided tour in English in the late afternoon.

Our advice

During Watches and Wonders, it is the visit that completes the fair, no trade badge needed. Allow two hours, and read our guide to the museum for guided tours and closures.
